Over the years, I've tackled projects of all shapes and sizes—collaborating with industry giants like Otto Group and RTL, as well as innovative startups like trivago and billiger.de. In 2019, I had the unique experience of attending a conference talk about my first big machine learning project, which had run successfully in production for over a decade before gracefully retiring.
Python and Beyond
Pythonis my trusty sidekick—why wrestle with convoluted syntax when you can keep it sleek and readable? It's my language of choice for crafting machine learning models and building backend web applications. When I'm not coding, I'm chatting on my German Python-Podcast or penning thoughts on my blog. Lately, I've been all-in on Django's exciting evolution, especially with how tools like htmx are bringing server-side rendering back in style. And guess what? I've even started learning CSS to sprinkle some extra magic on the front end!
